This past weekend Disneyland offered a sneak peak to
annual passholders (at an additional cost) to experience the all new California
Adventure’s Cars Land before the huge crowds.
Our very own Karrie took this opportunity to enjoy this awesome new
attraction with her family. The best part? She took pictures!
Here is her review:
I absolutely LOVED the new California Adventure Cars
Land! The Disney crew have really done it again, creating a breathtaking
replica of Ornament Valley which really gives you the feeling of being right in
Radiator Springs. Flo's V8 Cafe offers a full breakfast, lunch, and
dinner menu with an old fashioned style. If you are cruising for a snack,
the Cozy Cone Motel offers fun, unique beverages, snacks, and meals.
Mator and Lightening McQueen cruise around Radiator Springs, stopping off in front of the Cozy Cone Motel
to pose for photos. Red the fire truck is also available up the street for
photo op.
There are 3 Attractions- Radiator Spring Racers, Luigi's
Flying Tires and Mater's Junkyard Jamboree. Before letting your little
ones get too excited, be aware of height requirements: 40" for Radiator
Springs Racers and 32" for Luigi's Flying Tires and Mater's Junkyard
Jamboree. Due to the tall requirement
for Radiator Springs Racers my 3 year old son was unable to ride, however, we
were able to get a Rider Switch pass and only had to wait about 10 minutes!
Once officially opens to the public, Radiator Springs Racers will be your
longest wait time, but let me assure you that it is well worth the wait.
You will get to go through one of two paths, through Radiator Springs and
Ornament Valley, then finish off with a high speed race. Can't wait to go
again!
I’ll be honest; I’m a little over Disneyland and their outrageous
prices but after hearing about Cars Land from Karrie and seeing the pictures…
I’m actually excited to take the kids.
Will it be worth the new Disneyland price? No.
But my passes are still good for a few more months, so we will enjoy it
until then.
Here are the sneak peek pictures:
