Half Priced Milk Shakes at Watson's Drug Store

One of my very favorite things to do with the kids is to take them to Watson’s Drug and Soda Fountain Store in Old Town Orange and indulge in a gigantic milk shake with fries.  I don’t know if it’s the old town vibe, the ice cream they use, or just my imagination but there is something that makes their milk shakes extra special.

The Orange County Register’s Deal of the Day is an $18 gift card to Watson’s for $9.  This would be perfect to use on a hot day, and then let the kids run around the little park in the middle of the circle and make wishes in the fountain. 

And if you talk a friend into buying one too, then you can take turns watching the kids play around the park while the other walks around the antique stores.  If you’re brave, you could take your kids into them with you… but I’m not that brave.  I would end up leaving with a migraine, one kid with a bloody nose, and a $376 bill due to broken merchandise.
